It's really excellent. I wanted a new android to leave my S10 days behind because every listing for that phone is buying a 5 year old used battery. This was the best choice, I used ZTE phones a long time ago on technix robots. The redmagic is really cool too, but this was the more daily driver one.
+ Awesome notchless high PPI 6.8 inch screen
+ Notchless is gorgeous, camera bumps are minimal. The 35mm is well housed on the slightest raised circle.
+ Variable aperture 1.59 to 4 fstop
+ Gigantic battery, which requires some careful maintenance to not overcharge to really make it something
+ Always on UI options are lots of cool art
+ Main camera and telephoto are the best android can offer to par with the best
+Two stage camera button on the lower right and switch on the upper left that can be set as plenty commands
+Already has a screen protector
+ Under screen selfie cam is greatly hidden, it makes selfie photos look like a slight glassy filter is on them but that's completely fine
-No mobile data on ATT. I might be able to sort that out somehow or change to an appropriate provider in an east coast state. GPS and phone data works. Just not internet data.
-No camera stabilization. Not a big deal.
-Ultrawide is the same as redmagic. Not really a useful detailed camera.
-Camera software is very good except that the immediate standard photo mode does not allow for aperture control, and setting the pro mode can be tedious. It should have saveable presets for pro and options for levels of camera control in the standard photo mode. It's always shooting wide open in the standard photo mode. This can be solved in a software update.
-The large UI mode doesn't make the navigation buttons big enough. But they are just enough to use. There is also a one handed mode that the nav bar can initiate if really needed.
Impressively built. What I would like is a main camera like this with an aperture and a telephoto in the flat built redmagic with the 3.5mm audio jack. The ultrawide is essentially useless. This was as close as it will get and it's solid. I don't mind the camera bump for how well balanced the phone is.
I have been using Samsung A70 and A51 as daily drivers for many yrs and was in look out for something unique for my heavy lifting apps and daily usage and Nubia catches my eyes and checked their portfolio of devices and finally got my Z70 Ultra, it's a little heavy phone by otherwise overall good, they should include a screen shield as well in the box

I have the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and I got the Nubia Z70 Ultra 1T and 24G of ram. Nubia Z70 all day great Phone all around and very powerful !

Excellent phone. The Z70 Ultra is beyond worth the price. This is the most overlooked flagship phone in the United States of America! It is also quite possibly the best flagship phone in America! I hope to Nubia’s presence in the USA grow tremendously because this phone is worth far more than you actually pay to own it and outperforms both my Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and my iPhone 16 Pro Max by a long shot! If you don’t own this phone, then you should buy this device right now! Why are you still reading my review when you should be already buying your new Nubia Z70 Ultra!
